Groundhogs (also known as woodchucks) undermine decks, sheds, porches and even the foundation of buildings by digging burrows.
They chew on structural supports which compromises the structural integrity of the building. Be extremely careful because they are very aggressive when they feel threatened.
Groundhog removal is typically done by Baiting them into a trap, and then releasing it in a wooded area over five miles away from your home.
Groundhogs dig burrows to live in and the entrances are usually 10 to 12 inches wide with the excavated soil spread around the entrances. There are usually 2 or 3 entrances.
